Important technical information
Presentation Media The Organising Committee recommends the use of computerised projection. The LCD projector and the PC computer (with USB ports) with presentation software (MS PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Reader) will be available during presentation. The operating system installed on the conference computer is Microsoft Windows XP. Please, be aware of the issues of file size and incompatibility that may result in the rendering of images and font mismatches thus creating a very different presentation. If needed, a conference room will be available to presenters for a short presentation preview. We suggest that you save your files for the presentation to a USB Drive to avoid compatibility issues. Please, bring also a backup of your presentation. Uniquely identify your presentation file using the name and initials of the presenting author to be sure you can easily find your presentation after it is copied to the conference computer. Presentation information It is necessary that you arrive to the conference room 10 minutes before your session begins. At that time you will copy your presentation file to the computer. Also, any last minute information will be provided there. Your presentation time is about 15-20 minutes including time for questions and answers. Please, leave 5 minute period at the end of your presentation for questions from audience. The presentation schedule will be announced with the final programme as soon as it is available. Please check the session schedule on the program that you will receive to see which day and time you are presenting. |
